About Us
Our Story
Encounter Church was planted in September 2021 out of a God-given vision to reach those often missing from our churches and overlooked in our communities.
A vision for missing generations, diversity, multicultural voices, the unchurched, and unreached of our city—and to see believers discipled and multiplied through authentic relationship with God, others, and community.
God has given us the image of the Table (Luke 14): a place of welcome, acceptance, and transformation—a community where people can discover, heal, grow, and serve through relationship with Jesus.
Our heart is to create a space where people feel safe enough to encounter Jesus, be embraced by His love, and experience connection, community, and belonging—where no one is missing.

We believe in being a beacon of light and encouragement, offering a message of hope that is accessible and uplifting. We foster an atmosphere where people can find renewal and purpose in God’s promises.

At its core, Encounter Church is relational and community-driven. It’s a place where everyone belongs, and where people can form real connections. In everything we do, we aim to create a welcoming environment where faith is experienced together.

We value honest, real conversations about faith and life. People are encouraged to come as they are and grow together in a judgment-free, grace-filled environment. To us, authenticity means living out faith in everyday life, being transparent, and fostering a culture of trust.

Encounter Church is a spiritual home for all ages, where individuals, families, and children can grow together in faith. We prioritize love, care, and support, ensuring that every person feels seen, valued, and encouraged. Just like a family, we stand by one another through every season of life.

Everything at Encounter Church points back to Jesus. From worship to teaching, outreach to discipleship, Christ remains at the centre. We’re rooted in biblical truth, committed to reflecting His love, grace, and mission in every aspect of our ministry.
Doing life together.
At Encounter Church, we believe that faith is not meant to be lived out alone. “Doing life together” means walking alongside one another in every season: celebrating victories, carrying burdens, and growing together in Christ. Whether it's through small groups, shared meals, serving our neighbours, or simply showing up for one another, we are committed to building a spiritual family where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued. This is more than community, it’s home.
